SIERRA ARMY DEPOT FIRE & EMERGENCY SERVICES PROGRAM ASSESSMENT (FESPA) AND RISK ASSESSMENT
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The Kerr Company performed the following tasks:
FESPA: The Kerr Company performed a Fire & Emergency Services Program Assessment (FESPA) following US Army doctrine and/or directives in DODI 6055.6, DoDI 6055.6M, AR420-1, Unified Facilities Criteria, The National Fire Codes as applicable, the Installation Management Command (IMCOM) and the Assistant Chief of Staff for Installation Management (ACSIM).
The Kerr Company utilized the Sierra Depot’s most recent FESPA checklist with emphasis on, as a minimum: Administration, Training, Operations, Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Emergency Medical Services. Recommendations for continued operations IAW levels of risk was provided.
Risk Assessment: The Kerr Company provided an update to a prior risk assessment based on US Army doctrine following directives in DODI 6055.6, DoDI 6055.6M, AR420-1, AR385-10, and PAM385-30, the Installation Management Command (IMCOM) and the Assistant Chief of Staff for Installation Management (ACSIM).
The update followed direction and guidelines as stated in AR385-10 The Army Safety Program and Army Pamphlet 385-30 Mishap Risk Management using the Risk Management (RM) process.
