FEDERAL COMMUNICATION COMMISSION (ACQUISITION SUPPORT)
The Kerr Company worked on a project for the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to provide acquisition support for two large IT procurements (both contracts close to $90M each): IT Infrastructure and agency-wide development and programming services.
Tasks performed include: (1) Wrote the Acquisition Plan according to FAR, and developed the Independent Government Cost Estimate (IGCE); (2) Gathered and documented comprehensive acquisition requirements; (3) Assisted with the selection of the GSA GWACs to use; (4) Acted as the liaison between the IT department, the Contracting group and Office of General Counsel; (5) Assisted with writing the acquisition RFP, which included writing the Statement of Work (SOW); and (6) provided post-award contract support.
