Project Management

The Kerr Company employs standard project management techniques and principles that are aligned with the Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) principles and guidelines. Some principles and best practices for successful project management include:

   Identifying project risks and creating a risk mitigation plan
   Developing an integrated project plan and schedule, down to the work package level
   Project tracking such as milestones, budget, earned value (if required), etc.
   Careful selection of interim milestones to enable objective progress assessment
   Ensuring clear communication with customers
   Frequent reviews and informing customers if milestones are going to slip
